Painters get to work

Last Sunday we got together every member of the SBAR Paint team we could find and painted this scene. It was lots of fun as usual although we had to rush. Our paint team is good at painting fast, this scene was painted in about two hours.

Big hug and thank you to everyone who helped out. Can't wait for the next project!

Everyone always asks "Is it hard to get the paint off?"
The answer is no, it's easy, it comes off in the shower.

If you would like to be a painter or a model, write to me at sbarhq@yahoo.com.au

SBAR paint team is available for weddings, parties, anything.

Esperanza was the winner of our "Best Helmet Hair" competition, the prize, a full makeover, was generously donated and judged by Sydney's most famous hairdresser, Joh Bailey.
Esperanza kindly let me come along to take some photos, Joh Bailey has a beautiful salon and a very friendly, hard-working team of assistants.
It was great fun.

These two friends brought along a backgammon set to pass the time while everyone got painted up. I had an email tonight asking if we had a photo of them at the ride, I found quite a few! As you can see they found lots of other things to do, trying out the Bolwell chainless bike, meeting all sorts of interesting, painted people and fuelling up for the ride with free Nudie Fruit Juices!
Looks like they had a great day.

If you look at the weather in these photos you will see how cold and grey it was in the morning, only the brave and determined were rewarded when the sun shone out as we rode off, it stayed warm for our swim and the Punk Karaoke at Arthur Byrne Reserve.
